sweet days
i have so been enjoying time away from the robot. and i'm here to hear my voice and reach to you. others' voices all around me--visitors and little spaces. we are enjoying one another, all in all. hope you are, too.
dad took us fishing, all of us. waded in streams and hooked teeny trout and wrestled the devil's club. i liked watching my father in his passion. something about how we learn to love.
also, swings built with small children's hands and my garden, thick with buckwheat, clover and a few treasures. the little bit of work asked of me--a morning pulling grass, a cup of first blueberries--feels like training wheels. how do others gather all their wild herbs and berries and tend their gardens? my goodness. hope to find my rhythm and that it includes all that and riverside lounge, good books, knit tricks, laughing. just remember: just enough.
