a tisket, a tasket

hello you there,

look at what i made!

her name is mona.

i would like to send her smell to you in a bottle: sweet and spicy together, like samwell. wood and water. sometimes i am doing something other than actively loving her and her smell catches me. mmm. even a week after the twisting and bending and otherwise talking to the willow. soon her handle will smell like us.

thanks to gwen for teaching me.

and to tammy, whose egg basket i first loved. i thought of her, distant friend, often as i worked on mona. her ocean wave walk, her deeply rooted, tough, and incredibly vulnerable androgyny, her creative saying yes to bend after bend in the road.

thankful for people living outside a box, giving me the courage to live my self. thankful for beauty.

hope you get to make something beautiful this weekend. yes, that counts.
 xo,
k.
